Love Your Bookshop Day 2026
Join us on Saturday 10 October to celebrate Love Your Bookshop Day. Spend $50 or more and receive 10% off.
To celebrate local bookshops, publishers have joined with the Australian Booksellers Association to offer competitions with various prizes.
The first 25 people to purchase two Penguin books (books published by Penguin, including Puffin books) will receive a Personal Penguin (shown on left). Unfortunately, the Personal Penguins will not arrive in time for LYB Day, but if you purchase the books on this day, you will receive a special card that can be exchanged for your Personal Penguin at a later date.
Buy a book, keep your proof of purchase and visit the LYBD website to enter a competition to win a $1000 book voucher.
For the kids, print off a copy of this picture or pick up a copy in store and colour it in. When you’re finished, ask a parent or guardian to post your entry on social media using #LYBD2026, or email it to hello@loveyourbookshop.org.au. Entries close 17 October 2026. One winner from each age group will receive a $100 LYB Gift Card to spend at their favourite bookshop.
To celebrate the release of the Penguin Modern Classics, and with thanks to Penguin, the Australian Booksellers Association is giving away three sets of the 12 titles in the series plus a gorgeous tote bag. Visit this page to enter. Entries close 31 October 2026.
Purchase a copy of S.I.G.M.A. 1: Web of Spies from your local bookshop for your chance to win 1 of 2 drones. Visit the LYBD website to enter. Entries close 31 October 2026.

Books for Presale:
A Court of Splintered Harmony
Romance, danger and intrigue await you in the breathtaking sixth book in the #1 bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) series.
We will all be waiting with bated breath until the next instalment in the series finally drops on Tuesday 27 October 2026!
While the Night Court still reels from betrayal and revealed truths, and Prythian slowly rebuilds after the devastation wrought by the Hybern War, the insidious threat of Koschei the Deathless begins to pervade the land.
The Night Court won't stand by and watch innocents be slaughtered, but the rifts between them seem insurmountable.
But to defeat Koschei's creeping shadow, they must find a way back to each other and resurrect their former alliances. To survive, they must find a way to repair the splintered harmony all around them.
A Court of Splintered Harmony will be available in a trade paperback for $34.99 and a hardback for $55.00.
Payment is required at time of ordering to guarantee your copy, and orders can be made over the phone (0491 781 208) or in person at our store.
